The Indian authorities have begun digitizing the medical data of the population so that citizens can view their medical history, test results, prescribed treatment, etc. via the Internet. According to Bloomberg, the program will reach over 1.3 billion people. The initiative was named "Mission Ayushman Bharat". By registering in it, local residents will receive their personal 14-digit health identification number and a virtual medical card. It is expected that soon all hospitals and clinics in the country will also receive their QR codes, by which patients can share their data with them or access their information about themselves. As planned, this way citizens will be able to decide for themselves who can use their medical data and for how long, the India Times portal notes. With the new initiative, Indian authorities want to make the country's healthcare system more efficient, especially amid a pandemic that has significantly limited its capacity. However, not everyone in India welcomed the innovation. Critics of the program have expressed concerns about how patient privacy will be ensured, especially given that there is no data protection law in the country. In Russia, digitalization of healthcare is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Creation of a unified digital health care circuit based on the Unified State Health Information System", which is part of the national project "Healthcare". It is planned to spend about 170 billion rubles on a large-scale translation into digital. By the way, advanced patients can also enter their e-medhistory. There are also problems. Each region was engaged in digitalization independently and no uniform basic rules were established. Therefore, the systems used, software products differ in different territories. Now the main problem is to dock all this "patchwork quilt". The ONF has prepared many proposals for improving the digital circuit in healthcare. For example, now the emphasis in the system is on a medical facility. But ideally, the doctor should quickly get access to the database, specifically to the data about his patient, and not only from his work computer during working hours, but at any time from any gadget - tablet, mobile phone.
